Parks and playground programs this summer
Kids are out on summer break, so it’s time for some free summer fun in the sun at several of our great parks. These programs get kids out of the house, off of their electronic devices and having fun outdoors. Here is a list of free fun for kids ages six to 12 at the park.
Parks & Playground Program
This is a free, drop-in program open to the public. Children six through 12 years of age can stop by one of the parks and participate in planned daily activities with trained Community Services staff that are on site during activity hours to entertain and maintain a safe atmosphere. Activities include arts and crafts, games, sports, special events and outdoor fun. The sites listed below are open Monday through Friday, 12-4 p.m.

Park Happening Days
Park Happening Days are special days at Peak Park. Children, parents and groups are invited. All events are held at Peak Park and begin at noon.
The Great Splash: Thursday, Aug. 2, 12 p.m.
A summer tradition! Not a single kid will be dry by the end of this event. Relays and obstacle courses
